While I’m a native of Poughkeepsie, New York, I’ve been living here in North Carolina for over 20 years. After graduating high school in Hillsborough, I attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After graduating from college, I worked in the financial securities industry assisting individual and corporate clients with financial and estate planning. I quickly realized that financial securities work was not fulfilling my desire to work with clients on a personal level. Therefore, I left the financial securities industry and enrolled in the North Carolina Central University School of Law.I graduated with highest honors from North Carolina Central University, earning a Juris Doctor. I primarily focus my practice on civil law, ranging from personal injury, residential real estate, civil litigation, family law, and estate planning. My personal philosophy in helping my clients is simple: treat my clients the way I would want to be treated.

My clients are the cornerstone of my practice and the reason I decided to pursue a legal career. As such, I make sure to treat each and every client with the utmost respect and appreciation. I understand that clients come to me at different phases of life; I have helped clients through exciting times, such as purchasing a new home, and through difficult times, such as divorce.

In my free time, my husband and I keep busy staying active in our church and taking care of our three daughters. When we are not at a youth basketball game or gymnastics event, we like to travel, shop, and catch up on television shows.
